GrievanceSir, Sub:- Complaint u/s 154(3) Cr PC against 1. V.R. Venkatachalam S/o RamasamyUdaiyar M/s Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust 25, Sir C.V. Raman Road Alwarpet, Chennai- 600018. 2. Secretary Housing and Urban Development Secretariat Fort st. George, Chennai- 600009. 3. Manager- Marketing and Service Besant Nagar Division Tamilnadu Housing Board Adyar, Chennai- 600020. 1. 8.94 acres of land in SF. No.78/7 and in various other survey numbers of Thiruvanmiyur village was acquired by TNHB in the year 1986. 2. Whileso contrary to the provisions of TNHB Act, 7.44 acres of the said land was illegally ( no advt in newspaper, no auction sale, not issued under GDQ, without giving public notice regarding selling land and in the absence of a transparencypolicy based upon objective criteria) “allotted” to A1 by A2 through G.O No. 208 (HUDD LA 2.1) dt. 12-6-1998.and violation of Article 14. 3. This crime was not approved by authorities of other departments of the Government who were corresponding with each other raising objections and queries. 4. However in the year 2014, with the connivance of high level bureaucrats the 7.44 acres valued at over Rs. 540 crores was registered by A3 in favour of A1 for a throwaway sum of Rs. 33.46 crores. 5. This has resulted in a financial loss of over Rs. 507 crores to the exchequer besides doling-out public land for private benefit. Hence I request you to register a case for illegal sale of land which amounts to causing land grabbing besides causing a revenue loss of over Rs. 507 crores through corruption and also recover the TNHB land and re-utilise for public welfare.
