Under section 6(1) of the right to information Act, 2005, I request the following information.

REGIONAL TRANSPORT OFFICE CHENNAI WEST, K.K.NAGAR, CHENNAI-78 .

In which year RTO Chennai, west was started to function?

what is the working hour of RTO Chennai west?

Recently in newspaper published that all application will be issued in RTO office at free cost is correct?

Is there any counter for issuing of free application forms in RTO Chennai west? if yes means, where is it? If no means when you will open separate counter please specify the date on or before?

Since Government decided to issue free application forms then what is the need for franchise (bunk) selling the application inside the premises of RTO Chennai west. Please mention the date on or before it will removed?

Whether you have kept latest fee detail board in RTO Chennai west, if yes means where do you kept? If no means when you will keep the board in public place in RTO Chennai west? please the mention the date on or before fee detail board will kept?

What is the time for opening cash counter in groundfloor near entrance of RTO Chennai west office?

On 19-12-2007 why cash counter in (RTO Chennai west)ground floor near entrance opened at 9.45a.m ? what is the reason? Whether it is regular time?

In the cash counter board fee collecting time is mention as 9.00 am to 3.00p.m is it correct? If it was wrong means, when you will make correction on board?

Is there is any person is appointed as reception list in RTO Chennai west? If yes what is name of receptionlist ? whether he or she is absent on 19/12/2007?

During absent of reception whether you will arrange another staff in place of reception?

Why are your not giving Learners licence form3 after LLR test is over? Why are asking to come in evening?

Is there is any separate counter or table or cabin for collecting form of application for licence to drive a motor vehicle form-4 after paying the fee? If yes means, mention the section number or counter number? If no means then why motor inspector not accepting the test form at the test driving place?

Have you kept latest board, where the place of driving test will be conducted? If yes means where do you kept board or written on wall in premises of RTO Chennai west? If no means, when you keep the board or write on wall in premises of RTO Chennai west?

How many driving schools under the control of RTO Chennai west?

What purpose your given permission to Run the driving school?

Why driving school affixing address seal o LLR form and form of application for licence to drive a motor vehicle form 4? Is it correct or wrong?

Whether driving school is only for teaching driving or they can also acts touts or brokers?

How many brokers or touts are directly or indirectly get benefits by RTO Chennai west?

From 1st January 2005 to 31st December 2007 how many of them applied for two wheeler and light motor vehicle licence in RTO Chennai west?
a). In this how many of them applied through driving school?
b), How many of them applied directly( not through driving school or brokers or touts)?
c). How many of them failed in first test?
d).How many of them failed who applied through driving school?
e).How many of them failed who applied through direct.?

Whether the person come directly for driving test ONLY has to submit a).authorization letter affixing court fee Rs.5/-, b). R.C. Xerox, c) insurance certificate currently, d) pollution certificate? if yes means please give copy G.O. or guideline states that?

Whether above said documents are not necessary for the person coming through driving school? if yes please give copy of G.O. or guideline states that? if no means, on 19/12/2007 how many of them submitted authorization letter affixing court fee stamp of Rs.5/-, R.C. copy, insurance certificate copy latest and pollution certificate for Kinetic Honda TN-09 B 3819.

24. How many of them used Kinetic Honda tn-09 b3819 for driving licence test on 19/12/2007? The vehicle used which driving school it belongs?

25. Is there any fixed rate or fee fixed by government to driving school to collect as the teaching fee? If yes means, give the fee details? If no means , can driving school can fix fee as they like?

26. Why most of people (even educated people even for two wheeler) applying through driving school even fee is twice than government fee (without teaching driving)? May I consider that while applying directly for licence or cancellation of H.P.or registration or registration or F.C. , there will be no proper response as well as no proper guideness and also unnecessary time wasting will done authority pupils and also motor vehicle inspector will fail during driving test.

27. Why atmost of motor vehicle inspector very close and cooperation with driving school staffs and touts? whether they are giving bribe to inspectors?

28. Why CTV camera in motor vehicle inspector room is facing towards ceiling(towards the roof)?

29. During driving test the person coming directly, motor vehicle inspectors are asking them to put minimum two times ”8” and go long take U turn and come why?

30. Wherever the person coming through driving school or through touts, inspector does not look them properly why?

31. Whether the salary for inspector paid by the government of tamilnadu or by driving schools or touts?

32. Whether this RTO Chennai west office follows as per government norms?

33. Whether RTO Chennai west office free from bribe, corruption ?

34. From 1st January 2000 to 31 december 2007, how many times anticorruption and vigilance department has conducted raided in RTO Chennai west office?

35. What is the procedure for getting single digit number for new vehicle? Give me the detail? Whether you give for all person or particular persons (politicians, Richest person, religious head or caste head)

36. Whether the single digit number holder can they write as single digit itself? If yes means, please copy of G.O. or guideline states that. If no means what action is taken against them? What is the fine amount? From 1st January 2004 to 31st January 2007 till now how many of them you have fined?

37. Whether rules and regularsation is same for poor, middle, rich, politician or government servant?

38. Whether Government have given special permission to write in Number plate front or rear or both on two wheeler or Car for government staff as E.B. TNHB, POLICE? If yes means give copy of G.O. states that.

39. In LPG AUTORICKSHAW (PUBLIC) whether gas extinguisher is mandatory or optional one? If mandatory means, what capacity to be fixed? when you make it force?

40. Why RTO Chennai west not issuing acknowledgement for receiving the letter or cancellation HP forms in Tappal section? Is there any G.O. states that receiving letter need not to give acknowledgement or file number to them?

41. What is procedure for applying for international driving licence? What is the fee? What are document to be enclosed ? what are all vehicle you will issue? What is the process time? Whether I can apply directly or through driving school or touts only?

42. What is registration fee for different two wheeler and cars? What are the documents to be enclosed?

43. Whether RTO Chennai west have displayed detail of, what are all have to be enclosed with application, where the application to be submitted, and processing time to complete work or delivering time? If yes means where you have been displayed in RTO Chennai west ? if no means when you arrange board please mention date on or before?

44. Why photo quality is not good in licence (form 7) since it was valid many years? Whether you will arrange for low range focus light in photo taking room in future?

45. When you will protect or cover CTV camera in ground floor near photoroom from rain and showers?

46. In No parking board planted by CCTP, mention as METER is it correct? If no means, what is the correct word?

47. when will introduce computerized (chip or Bar code) number plate in Tamilnadu?

48. Whether RTO have any guideline books? If yes please give copy of it.
